“I became the Managing Director of the Southern Truck Centre in July 2008. The business was established by Reinhard Mauch in 1994 in Queanbeyan and is a distributor, plus sales and service for Volvo, UD, Mack, Hino. Financial Integrity Group were the financial advisors for Reinhard and his wife Angela for 6 years prior to my joining Southern Truck Centre as a result of Reinhard’s recommendation, my wife Lisa and I met the Managing Director of Financial Integrity group, Jason Hedlund. Financial Integrity Group assisted Reinhard and Angela’s transition out of the business and set them up for retirement, investing the sale proceeds together, with their existing portfolio, and are clients of Financial Integrity Group today.

We purchased another business in Wollongong in April 2011.  We have 68 staff in 2 locations so to say life’s busy at the moment is an understatement. Initially Financial Integrity Group organised some life insurance, trauma insurance and income protection as well as taking over the management of our superannuation funds. That was 8 years ago.  They also have the capacity through Financial Integrity General to look at our public liability, worker’s compensation, etc. and a lending arm. We are now looking at our own succession planning that Financial Integrity Group are our firm of choice as that time approaches.”
